Hollywood actress Pamela Anderson on Playboy January 2011

PAMELA Anderson has graced the cover of Playboy magazine’s January 2011 issue by channeling actress Anita Ekberg’s famous scene in the 1960 film La Dolce Vita.

In the scene, Ekberg’s character cavorts half-naked in Rome’s Trevi Fountain in a slinky black dress, similar to the one Anderson wears.

It is Anderson’s 13th cover since her debut in the men’s glossy in 1989 and a record number of covers in the magazine’s 57-year history.

In the text accompanying the eight-page nude pictorial released yesterday, the former Baywatch star and PETA representative showcases a work of poetry that urges readers to do good.

“Please let’s show the good in us … The brilliance … The wonderful … It’s abundant – it’s just not tapped as it should be,” she writes.
